Ofserv Concludes NLNG Train 7 FEED-Bid Training for SAIPEM

Scope included training on Electrical Software (SKM Tools) & Mechanical Software (PDMS):

Electrical Software (SKM Tools) The course included the introduction to the SKM user interface and the management of multiple scenarios using scenario manager. Load flow calculations, short circuit calculations, load schedules and motor starting calculation procedures were also reviewed. Other topics covered were the generation of single line diagrams, reporting options, use of equipment libraries and import/export capabilities.

Mechanical Software - PDMS The training provided a practical hands-on experience in the use of the PDMS software for the modelling of equipment ,piping and structures towards harnessing the advantages of modelling in improving productivity and interference checking to reduce field rework, exact material take-offs that reduce costs etc.
